The Red House provides the following accommodation:

31 single rooms comprising of:

17  rooms  with wash basins
11 en-suite rooms (4 with shower)
2 first floor flats and one ground floor cottage with its own secluded garden.

All the rooms are furnished with flat screen Freeview TV. Residents can if they wish bring their own TVs and all rooms have a telephone socket that is available for use subject to making arrangements for line rental directly with BT.

There are only a few rooms empty at any one time so it is advisable to check with us to see what accommodation is available. If there is one particular type of room you would prefer we do offer a waiting list and will contact you when that room or one similar becomes available.

The house is a substantial building and we are currently undertaking the huge task of redecorating it throughout, bringing it up to a modern standard and where possible creating more en-suite rooms whilst retaining the original features.

The rooms are decorated individually to the choice of the occupants. If a room becomes available and a resident has made the decision to take it we will paint it the colour of their choice and ensure the soft furnishings match.

Residents are welcome to bring in their own furniture provided it meets with our health and safety requirements and that it is suitable.

Our home is in the centre of Sudbury. An able bodied person could walk to

• Bus station - 3 minutes
• Train station - 6 minutes
• Public car park - 5 minutes

There is free parking adjacent to the House but whether you will find a space depends partly on luck but also the time of day and day of the week you visit.
